You can tell by that long nose: the armadillo has a very good sense of smell and can even detect insects when they are deep underground. He doesn’t find heat a problem. It feels at home in South America and is used to warm days. The armadillo has an unmistakable appearance and lives up to its name. His thick skin shield armor runs over the entire body, as if he were wearing several belts. It looks cute. Especially when he runs briskly through the desert on those short legs. He probably found something tasty with his good nose. His favorite snacks are insects. When he dives into an underground lair to catch them, he can hold his breath for up to six minutes! But after that he really earned his meal.
